Cheddar Cheese Bread

Cheddar Cheese Bread in the bread machine:
1 1/4 cups milk or water
1 1/2 Tbls butter
3/4 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
1 1/2 Tbls sugar
1 tsp salt
3 1/2 cups bread flour
2 tsp yeast

Use dough cycle. Shape into a loaf, rise 1 hour, and bake in a heavy pan at 375 for 35 minutes.

This is a really high-rising bread!


  1. This sound great!! I have done a similar recipe in the past with cheese and pepperoni mixed in and you dip it in sauce when you eat it. This sounds more grown up though and that is good!
